    Your Guides to Fresh Food Fresh Food Update Fresh or Free Guarantee Fresh Magazine Meet Our Growers Send to a friend Print Recipes Chocolate Butternut Snap Tartlets Preparation time 25 minutes 45 minutes chill time Cooking time 10 minutes Serves 20 Created by Ingredients 1 x 250g Packet Arnott s Butternut Snap Cookies 1 3 cup of cream 200g milk or dark chocolate chopped 65g unsalted butter chopped Method 1 Pre heat oven to 180 degrees Celsius Place 12 biscuits over each hole of a twelve hole 1 1 2 tbsp capacity round based tartlet tin Bake for 2 3 minutes or until soft Remove from oven then carefully press softened biscuits into tin to mould into a cup shape Allow to cool Remove from tin and transfer to serving plate Repeat with remaining biscuits 2 Place butter cream and chocolate in a saucepan over very low heat Stir constantly until melted and smooth approx 7 minutes Pour into clean dry bowl and refrigerate until cool but not set approx 20 minutes 3 Fill biscuit cases with 1 heaped teaspoon of chocolate mixture then place in refrigerator for 20 25min or until set and ready to serve Rudolf tartlets are lots of fun and very easy to make 1 Cut a regular marshmallow in half and place cut side down for face 2 Stick a jaffa to marshmallow using a dot of ready made frosting 3 Cut a mini marshmallow in half and place cut sides up onto tart for eye whites Add a small drop of black food writing gel to the eye whites 4 Cut mini pretzels to shape and gently push into chocolate filling to make ears Tip Nutritional Information Per Serve Share on Facebook Tweet this Bookmark at Delicious Digg this Share this page on Specials

  • Woolworths - Easter biscuits
    Preparation time 50mins Cooking time 15mins Serves 45 Created by Ingredients 125g soft unsalted butter 1 2 cup caster sugar 1 tsp vanilla extract 1 egg 2 cups plain flour 1 tsp baking powder Woolworths Select Easter Cookie Cutters 500g ready made white icing sifted icing sugar to dust food colouring eggwhite to glaze Method Using an electric mixer beat 125g soft unsalted butter 1 2 cup caster sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract together in a bowl until pale and creamy Add 1 egg and mix well Sift 2 cups plain flour and 1 tsp baking powder over and fold in until combined Knead lightly on a floured surface until smooth Divide dough in half and flatten each into a disc Wrap in plastic and chill in the fridge for 30 minutes Preheat oven to 180 Line 2 baking trays with baking paper Roll out one portion of dough on a lightly floured surface until 4mm thick Using the Woolworths Select Easter Cookie Cutters cut out shapes and transfer to trays Bake for 12 15 minutes until golden Transfer to wire racks to cool Repeat with other dough half to make 45 cookies Knead 500g ready made white icing on a clean surface dusted with sifted icing sugar until smooth and no longer sticky Divide into portions and add drops of food colouring to colour as desired We did 5 portions white yellow pink blue and green Work with one portion at a time and keep remaining coloured portions wrapped tightly in plastic to prevent drying out Roll out 1 portion of coloured icing until about 3mm thick Cut out shapes using the same cutters Lightly brush a biscuit with eggwhite and lay the icing on top smoothing gently Continue with remaining biscuits and coloured icings Decorate with dots
