  • VisualFunk Innovation Hub: A look at Innovation in Pictures
    engaged excited energised and making breakthroughs in a short amount of time I believe that creativity and innovation are verbs or action words and as such innovative behaviours drive innovative thinking and results As such the day was more than just throwing everyone in the room with some creative thinking tools and saying go for it VisualFunk put together a day that combined a bunch of different approaches to stimulate the senses disrupt thinking open everyone s eyes to the world around them embrace freshness and still provide some structure to gain new perspectives when you are stuck at your desk As such the day included improv theatre photography graphic facilitation and learning to draw live instagram and twitter feeds music plenty of movement and structured thinking sessions To make it real every team had to present their ideas with a peer voting system that put the best ideas live on stage presenting to the shark tank No use in keeping great ideas hidden Given the power of visual communication in keeping ideas alive we created an overview of the guidelines principles and behaviours we encouraged on the day that I wanted to share Just to be clear do I believe this a definitive guide to innovation No not at all Many people will claim that they have the definitive answer model or approach for innovation but just like people innovation and creativity are alive They have a heart beat Different approaches work for different scenarios places organisations and people This is just a capture of what we did on this particular day What are your thoughts on the best way to kick start innovation What are the essentials to have in an innovation day Would love to hear your thoughts Download this infographic Embed Our Infographic On Your Site
