    Bolton who was tapped LBW by Briana Binch for 13 Binch was the pick of the VicSpirit bowlers picking up career best figures with three wickets for a miserly eight runs Molly Strano and Emily McIntyre both chipped in with 2 13 and 2 17 respectively The VicSpirit run chase was stapled by opener Elyse Villani who carried her wicket through the innings Villani finished just shy of a half century on 48 off 37 balls which included five boundaries and one six The VicSpirit seemed to be cruising at 1 40 but the Fury were back in the match following the wickets of skipper Emma Inglis Kelly Applebee and Julie Hunter saw the VicSpirit at 4 41 After doing the damage with the ball it was Briana Binch who hit the winning runs for the VicSpirit with a boundary Nicky Shaw and Emma Biss were the multiple wicket takers for the Fury VicSpirit captain Emma Inglis said it was an encouraging display and one that improved on Friday s match The bowlers have been good for us all weekend they stood up again today and they were able to bowl nice and tight it was good to get a couple of early wickets Inglis said The all round effort in the field was great today was great with some fantastic catching and some diving saves as well It got a bit shaky there in the chase Elyse Villani was fantastic through her innings and hit the boundaries when we needed her too We would have liked a few more partnerships in there but we were able to hang on in the end There is plenty to improve for the two WT20 s matches against the Meteors in Canberra on November 9 and 11 according to the captain I think
