  • Neivandt to coach VicSpirit - VicSpirit
Sub District club Ivanhoe throughout the past 20 years The VicSpirit will be out to make amends this season after failing to contest a Final for the first time in five seasons last year Last year there were a few injuries and retirements so I m really looking forward to the challenge of working with the side Neivandt said The future is bright however with eight Victorian players recently announced in national squads The top end talent is definitely there Neivandt said Our bowling is an obvious area of improvement in the past couple of seasons we have had Clea Smith retire Julie Hunter was injured for most of last season and Danni Wyatt moved on so that is a huge chunk to replace 30 overs in a one day match and 12 in a T20 It means there are opportunities for other players which is always a great thing Meanwhile Jarrod Loughman has been appointed to the position of Head Coach High Performance Academy which was vacated by Shawn Flegler Loughman s appointment has been made following an extended search for a coach that will challenge motivate and drive ongoing improvement of High Performance Academy players and specialist coaches
