    and Supervision Markets Supervision Trading on APX Settlement Complaints APX Framework Consultations and Amendments APX Framework Responsibility for the supervision and operation of the APX market is shared between APX and the Australian Securities and Investments Commission ASIC The role that each body plays depends upon the part of the market being considered ASIC is the Government s regulatory body which supervises Australian market operators such as APX and Australian Financial Services Licensees such as stockbrokers It does this in accordance with the Corporations Law established by Parliament and the Market Integrity Rules which ASIC develops and which is approved by the relevant Government minister ASIC is responsible for the regulation of stockbrokers in accordance with the Corporations Act and the ASIC Market Integrity Rules APX Market the regulation of real time trading on APX in accordance with the Corporations Act and the ASIC Market Integrity Rules APX Market This includes insider trading market manipulation continuous disclosure and orderly markets enforcing the Corporations Act against listed companies and stockbrokers on the APX market the regulation of APX as a market operator in accordance with the Corporations Act and the ASIC Market Integrity Rules APX Market APX is the market operator and supervisor It does this in accordance with the Operating Rules which APX develops and which are not disallowed by the relevant Government minister APX is responsible for the supervision of stockbrokers in accordance with the APX Business Rules the supervision of real time trading on APX in accordance with the APX Business Rules This includes orderly markets the supervision of continuous disclosure by Listees on APX in accordance with the APX Listing Rules enforcing the APX Business Rules against stockbrokers on the APX market and enforcing the APX Listing Rules against Listees and sponsors APX and ASIC work co

    Australian Treasury In 1985 Mr Schoer received the Cambridge University Certificate of Merit for distinguished service to the community in 1991 the BRW Alcatel Australian Business Leader of the year award for outstanding achievements in Accounting and in 2008 was made a Knight of the Royal Order of the Kingdom of Sulu and Sabah in recognition of his achievements personally and in the field of business industry and public governance George Wang Deputy Chairman Executive Director Mr Wang founded AIMS Financial Group in 1991 and as CEO he is directly involved in all aspects of the AIMS group of businesses both in Australia and China Mr Wang is an appointed advisor for a number of Chinese Government bodies including the position of Deputy President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade In Australia Mr Wang is the President of the Australia China Finance Investment Council Mr Wang is also the Chairman CEO of AIMS Financial Group at present James Eric Barr Non Executive Director CA Mr Barr is a Chartered Accountant who retired as an audit partner of Pricewaterhouse Coopers following 20 years experience as a partner at PwC and predecessor firm Price Waterhouse He is a former Chairman of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Victoria and a National Councillor He was previously a Price Waterhouse representative at Urgent Issues Group meetings Mr Barr has held directorships with various public private and non profit companies He is currently a non executive director on the US Board of a US publicly listed company with Australian activities with responsibility as Chairman of the US Audit Committee and the US Conflicts Committee Greg Bundy Non Executive Director Mr Bundy has two decades of experience in investment banking stockbroking and funds management Until recently he was Vice Chairman of Merrill
